My laboratory is focused on RNA 3′ end formation. To that end, we have multiple projects that deal with distinct RNA processing events. These projects involve using cutting-edge molecular and biochemical techniques in both human and Drosophila cells. We use these two model systems complimentarily to take advantage of the inherent conservation of RNA 3′ end formation events.
