I am a 5th year PhD student in the Molecular and Cellular Biology program at the University of Washington. My thesis work in the Tapscott lab at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center seeks to identify the mechanisms regulating DUX4 expression in FSHD. I am passionate about elucidating mechanisms of FSHD disease pathogenesis and driven to help discover new therapeutic avenues.
