Dr. Campbell received her Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013. She then continued her scientific training as a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Dr. Stephen Tapscott where she focused on understanding how DUX4, the causative gene for FSHD, is regulated. In 2017, Dr. Campbell became a staff scientist in the Tapscott lab where she continues to study various aspects of DUX4 biology and FSHD pathogenesis. She is currently a Research Instructor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and a member of Dr. Sujatha Jagannathan's lab.
